I never thought I would write my life story and a few family secrets my kids would be shocked over and then accept, I hope. But the truth of the matter is we are all going to die someday. I wanted these stories told for the family history.

Now I will go through pictures and try to make an album of the important ones that matter and need to be saved.

This all came to a head when a good friend of mine of over 20 years lost his mind. Yes lost his mind. There is a lot of that going on now a days. Blame it on the food or what we call food the way it is processed today. Lack of using our mind and body. Sitting in front of the boob tube or using electronics for all communication purposes. We are losing our minds. Faster and younger each year.

I was so shocked to find out the story of my friend who is now in a locked hospital setting and will never get out. He did complain the last few years of his memory seeping away and waking up not knowing where he was.

Now his family is selling his home. The place he loved for the last 30 years or more to pay for his housing and care. All his stuff that he cherished will be gone the will be sold.

The end of my friend’s life or the life that he knew.

The horrible part of this story is that it can happen to you or me.

When I heard about this from his family member I was shocked, traumatized, etc.

I started to write my life’s story and it will only stay with the family. It will not be put on line for public opinion. Some things are private. I did write some family stories among others which are on www.ezinearticles.com and www.authorsden.com.

The only advice I can give you and me is keep active in your mind and body.
