Children don't demand perfection, but they sure hate hypocrisy.

You know children growing up have the necessity to hear positive things from their parents. Sometimes we, as parents, hear "Can I sleep with the puppy tonight?" or "Can we stay up as late as we want tonight?" These are those innocent things we hear from time to time. Sometimes we just need to say yes to them. Of course this is not to say that we allow them free rein. But if the child doesn't mind smelling like the dog in the morning, then the parent can convey a positive force in their child's life. As the child grows into adulthood, he or she will have great memories in their museum. Remember also, that children don't demand perfection, but they sure hate hypocrisy.
