14 simple ways to navigate through #rough times:

. . . . . moving forward

Even when life seems overwhelming and happiness is out of reach, know that this time will pass and circumstances do change. Even when hurts and inner pain seem intolerable or you feel alone and isolated, there are those who care about you.

1)       Take extra good care of yourself and seek out positive stable people and activities. Surround yourself with happy, positive people and become those attributes that inspire you.

2)       When you are feeling scared or overwhelmed, look higher and imagine that you are looking at yourself as though you were a loving compassionate God, Goddess, Creator or a wondrous Guardian Angel. This should feel good and freeing.

3)       You have inner drive, a powerful motivating force that has kept you alive, kept you going this far. It is your spirit, your soul; and in allowing it to guide you, it will guide you through this situation. Trust it.

4)       A change of scenery does wonder. You may consider cleaning out your closets, re-decorating or moving to a new location, it boosts your soul.

5)       Play uplifting music and sing along. Moving your physical body, dancing, yoga, swimming assists in re-claiming your physical body, as well as dissipating those pent up powerful emotions.

6)       Blow bubbles, eat ice cream, dance, watch funny or uplifting movies and channel that life force within you into loving creative activities.

7)       Journal the truth, as how you feel and once emptied, write the story of how you would like things to be, re-write the script of you circumstances as full, wise, and empowered. Daily, list all of the things you are grateful for. Gratitude is a powerful mood shifter.

8)       Make a difference in someone else's life and you make a difference in your own. One person's journey of survival, turned thriving, is opportunity for compassion and teaching for another is just beginning.

9)       Write a bucket list, cut out pictures from magazines. Do one item from the list, now.

10)   Join a meditation or a spiritual development group. Enroll in a class or course; something you have always wanted to do or learn.

11)   Write mantras, to say repeatedly in your mind, until they become a living part of whom you are, and your way of life.

12)   When you feel your physical body sigh and relax, you are now ready to resolve any lingering, stuck issues.
