THE PASQUINADE PROSPECTUS
Professor Ambrose Penwose, Editor
Good Evening,
It came to mind that all this meaningless drivel I’ve tendered through a period far beyond a coon's age would inflate a hackneyed periodical published periodically beyond bursting.
A forum of superior quality, with a title to match, was needed. I began to search.
First stop, a trip to Dictionary.com where I hoped to find something nice pertaining to TITLE.
Sink Me…The Word of the Day was Pasquinade!
I looked it up and found it pertaining to lampoon, parody, farce, satire…That’s Me!
What a joy to find a word I’ve never heard before that describes my writing as though it has heard it before.
I needed a word to go with it. I looked up Gazette and found Prospectus.
THE PASQUINADE PROSPECTUS is unknown to the Internet and all corners of the universe. At least it was.
Each of the two terms came up singularly with Prospectus bearing the brunt of activity.
Several Red Herring Prospectus references were given which enhanced my enhancement of the phrase due to propensities for the Red Herring term.
I will this day go forward with The PASQUINADE PROSPECTUS
A publication of unbridled significance.
I will try to remember the next time I see that title with that strange word (I think I know what prospectus means), I hope I remember this erudite article explaining precisely what it is and why you're using it so that I will immediately jump into the humor provided. Thank you, Bank U for going out of business and absconding my money.
