Scene…COCA-COLA RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT laboratory…
Three or four scientists hard at work with beakers, flasks, etc.
Group of men enter stage left.
One of the scientists presents them with beaker of dark liquid.
Scientist…Try this.
Man takes a taste…That’s Great!
Other scientist…It’s our best yet!
Other man takes a taste…It’s fantastic! What do you call it?
Scientist…Well, it is the best we’ve ever come up with, so the name should reflect its magnificence.
Another scientist…Yeah, it tastes so good we almost called it, PEPSI.
But Dr. Pepper "is so misunderstood." And wherein the heck is Royal Crown Cola when you need one. I would advise them to get some big horses with cute dogs to sell their caramel colored carbonated sugar water.
