I was just looking through the TV Guide planning my daily/nightly activities and I came across, (For the umteenth time) the movie,
“She Wore A Yellow Ribbon.”
This time was different however as an idea popped into my head concerning my screenplay, “How The West Was Lost.” I need to freshen it up a bit. I’ve always considered changing the title as it has been done a lot but nothing really hit me?
Today I got a pie in the face!
How About…“She Wore Yellow Bloomers!”
That makes it seem rewritten without rewriting it.
I don’t want to rewrite it anymore because if/when it does get accepted it will be rewritten, as all spec scripts are.
I may add a few things like Lieutenant Rancid commanding his troops to mount/dismount…
“Prepare to Mount Up…Mount up!”
“Prepare to Mount Down…Mount Down!”

A guy robs a stagecoach, or bank, wearing a flour sack over his head.
As sheriff organizes posse, guy walks behind him with flour all over his head.
Sheriff, “He’s probably 20 miles away by now.”
I may save those changes for the production rewrite, except for the title.
