What if I told you nothing you do matters? You would be offended, as would I under similar circumstances. You probably think everything, or at least something, you do is important. But you are wrong.
Human ingenuity keeps us way ahead of all other species living or dead. We are able to fabricate whatever we need or desire.
Time is relative. Perhaps your grandfather had a watch, or one of those big clocks? and bequeathed it to you…or perhaps he did not…that would be Relative to his regard of your Relationship at the Time of his passing.
We have known for sometime that if your parents had no children, the chances are quite good you will have none as well…unless someone is able to alter the past and make your folks fruitful?
Invention mimics imagination. Much of what we have today came from the minds of creative storytellers such as submarines, rocket ships, UFOs, and space travel.
I am quite sure that someone, even as we speak, is working on a Time Machine, that will come to be in the future. Of that we can be certain.
I’ve already stated that travel into the future is not feasible since it hasn’t happened yet, yet The Past is there waiting.
Those who are able to go there will change things that happened as they see fit. Maybe Columbus misses America and actually lands in India? The Last Mohican has children? Custer falls off his horse and misses the massacre. Texans forget The Alamo. Lincoln goes to a movie instead of the theater. I know you are thinking movies were not invented yet…but maybe they were due to Time Travelers?
The facts are clear. Anything we do can be changed by travelers of the future, so why do them? I guess it beats sitting around doing nothing.
I should think that their main concerns would be big things, so if you tone down your important things you may have a better chance of them not being manipulated.
We can only hope that people who come from the future admire us. If they do not they can make our lives a living hell!
