Bad day for Ivanka

Professor Ambrose Penwose, Kiwi

Bad day for Ivanka Trump

In a bit of a second thought suggesting, “I would have been better off saying nothing,” Ivanka Trump said something.

Apparently thousands of readers follow her, as thousands of twitters were tweeting her faux paus throughout the known world along with a dominion heard of for the first time.

These are her words copied concisely:
Congratulations.Boris Johnson on becoming the next Prime Minister of The United Kingston.

It came shortly after her father, President Donald Trump, made a similar goof, when he called Prince Charles the “Prince of Whales” instead of the Prince of Wales.

They both replied, “Potatoe, Potatoe.”

One fellow wrote…
The marvelous thing about becoming the PM of the United Kingston, no matter how sincere or credulous, is that it is an Empire upon which the Sun will never set.

Another asked:
Is the United Kingston next to Whales?

Another offered:
No wonder they never found Pitcairn Island.

A damsel wrote:
"Look Daddy.....I'm governmenting!!!"

As stated many times I stay clear of politics and religion, however every once in a while something like this comes along.

Penwose Out,

While people of high visibility need to be careful what they tweet, it may or may not reflect on their verbal ability or knowledge, but rather on distraction from too much demand on their time.

In my case, it is this wonderful and sometimes, pesky, Dragon Dictation for the Mac, that allows me to make such lengthy comments at high speed with occasional (actually, often) faux pas that are embarrassing upon seeing them posted.
