The title should be enough to get you to read it.

I did something last night I have never done in my whole life from 1968 until yesterday, I watched the original NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD.
What a film! It started the Zombie craze, which still lives today even though they don’t.
I must admit I could not wait for the blond to be dragged out. They should have killed her instead of her brother.
Since it was made in Pittsburgh, as was I, I thought I might see some of my real zombie friends from Garfield. They must have slithered to other locations?
I did see an old dear friend to all Pittsburgh’s, Chilli Billi Cardilli. He was the TV reporter from WIIC, (his real station,) and he used his real name. Other than that I think the actor’s were picked up on Federal Street?

I’ve mentioned how foolish it is to learn new words that nobody knows. Here is a random example.
Dictionary.com’s Word of the Day is Horripilation. Anybody ever heard of it? Anybody know what it means?

Here is the definition…
noun [haw-rip-uh-ley-shuhn, ho-]
a bristling of the hair on the skin from cold, fear, etc.; goose bumps.

Imagine walking down the street with a person who says, “OMG! Look at that horripilation!” What would you do?
Do not learn a new word unless Everybody learns the new word.

Speaking of the dead…Today they are airing KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE…another movie I have yet to see fully. I see bits and pieces here and there but the show times do not allow me full access.
Take today for instance, it’s on at 11:30 PM. It won’t be over until tomorrow.
I have to find out if they killed everybody? I look out my window and the streets are bare? Maybe the Killer Klowns Got them?

I don't remember seeing The Night of the Living Dead. Perhaps I did, I just didn't remember what they did the blonde or anyone else for that matter… Too tied up with every episode of The Walking Dead's never-ending line of actors (not actor's) lining up from Pittsburgh and everywhere else to play a walker, a whisper, or anything else for one moment of fame before getting a sharp stick through their eyeball socket… Just… Delicious.

I do remember watching the Morgantown Steve Smith announcing how he was afraid, not of the living dead, but of the coming cold as he joined KDKA Pittsburgh as a CBS news announcer. He said that he would have to buy heavy sweaters, coats and boots for his family, arriving from the heat of Houston. As if shadowing me like a zombie, déjà vu, 10 years later, I turn on my TV to KHOU Houston and there is Steve Smith declaring that he is now glad to be back in the hot humid climate where he doesn't have to buy heavy zombie clothes. Ran a shudder down my back as he continued to spew fake news, CBS style. The Martians are coming… Coming… Or is it Killer Klowns from Outer Space!
