Recently, I was awakened to hearing a sound coming out of my spirit. I heard ‘I recite my verses.’ Immediately I began to recite verses from the Psalms that I had assembled as a confession in the early days of my walk with the Lord. ‘This is the day that the Lord has made and I will rejoice and be glad in it. I will bless the Lord at all times. His praises shall continually be in my mouth. Oh give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good. His mercy endureth forever. I sought the Lord and He heard me, he delivered me from all my fears. Oh Lord, my Lord, how excellent is you name in all the earth. What is man that thou art mindful of him and visited him?’

          God is so awesome how He speaks to us. Generally, He speaks to me through His Word; I will hear the Word and then search it out. He knows each of us so well and what will get our attention. He got my attention through speaking those verses with the words He heard me, He delivered me and He visited me.

          There is not a word that you can think or speak that God does not hear and know about. He knows the thoughts that we think before we even think it. He hears the cry of your heart before it is uttered out of your mouth.

          As He speaks don’t delay in your response. He hears you, but can you hear Him? He speaks even in the smallest thing. We not only have to fine tune our ears to His Spirit, but our eyes as well. You can read a scripture that you may have read before numerous times, but this time there is a greater revelation.  Why didn’t you see that before? Because you have made progress. You have grown in your faith and trust of His faithfulness.

          Each day there is the opportunity  presented to you to see and know the Father in a different way. As I recited my verses, the word goodness stood out. Digging in to search the Word for all of the scriptures containing the word goodness, I found a jewel in Exodus 33:19. This verse is a response to Moses’ request to see the glory of God. One of the most important aspects of this is that they are having conversation!  I know many times we pray and rush out of His presence, but we must learn to just wait and have conversation. He calls you and waits for you to respond because there are mysteries and insight that He wants to share.

          In Exodus 33:19, the Lord releases His goodness to go before Moses. “And God said, “I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the Name of the Lord before you; for I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show compassion (lovingkindness) on whom I will show compassion.” Thinking on the timing of this encounter, I began to pray and decree that His goodness goes before me like a red carpet for me to walk. Please note that we are entering into a new decade, 2020 and the word says all of His goodness!

          As I continue to meditate on this word, the Father says that He will make an announcement by declaring His name before you. When He declares His name before you, is it for your enemies to see and know that He is with you? His name is a mighty shield. His name is weight. The whole universe has to bow to His name.  Something mighty and unprecedented happens when He speaks His name before you. Could it be a mark of distinction?

          As we approach the next decade, seek Him for revelation of what His plan is for you and be in agreement with Him.  This time in my life is very important and I have received this word personally. My something better is waiting on me! Since the beginning of this revelation, goodness is unfolding daily. My something better has been designed with great detail and waiting on me!  Recognize how good our God is! Expect all His goodness to go before you as we enter into the next decade in anticipation of those things that He has made ready and kept ready awaiting our arrival.

Then he passed in front of Moses and called out, “I am the Lord God. I am merciful and very patient with my people. I show great love, and I can be trusted.
