HAPPY EASTER
I wonder what they called it on 000001 AD?..or the year previous?
For years I have painstakingly searched my estate from top to bottom, left to right, inside and outside, up to down, and everything else not previously mentioned, to find eggs on Easter. The event always proved futile.
Without finding nary a single egg, I concluded that it was all a dark demented myth, perpetuated by dark demented mythodicals.
Today that all changed!
This morning my Easter Egg Hunt revealed ten eggs! Count em…ten!
I can almost count them with my fingers.
How Wonderful The Wonder!
I always thought they were supposed to be differently colored but apparently that is not the case.
It also would have been nice if they were boiled, but apparently That is not the case.
I’ve been told The Easter Bunny hides them under trees and bushes, but apparently that also is not the case as some were found dripping from my dwelling.
The morning sun quickly turned them for which I was grateful because I previously thought I had a gas leak.
I tried to scoop them up but it was like trying to scoop up a person who’s chute didn’t open, which I never did, but I heard it was like scooping up eggs.
I hope some of the pigeons around here are egg eaters?
Every other morning my hunt for eggs is met with a single fried egg placed on a plate in front of me with toast to soak up the yoke and the rest to be placed on the toast as a platform for eating.
I know that Robin's eggs are robin egg blue and some bags are spotted or otherwise colored so the mother knows the difference between her eggs and the eggs of some nest hopper hijacking her for a surrogate mommy for her ruffians.
This may be the source of the industry inspired marketing for coloring eggs to guarantee that they are going to cost more, especially if they are chocolate or marshmallow.
