I just watched two of my favorite humorous westerns, Support Your Local Sheriff, and Support Your Local Gunfighter.
Two flicks that always warm my heart.
But why only two?
It occurred to me there should be a trilogy. We live in a world of trilogies. Trilogies are all around us. If you find two of something you can rest assured a third is nearby.
What is the Statue of Limitations for a trilogy? How much time is allowed to pass before the party of the third part is no longer included within the part of the first two parts?
I WILL MAKE THE TRILOGY!
I will call it,
SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL UNDERTAKER
Drifter comes to town and wins a mortuary and boneyard in poker game.
Most of the town’s men are miners who moonlight for the undertaker and strike gold, (The Mother Lode,) while digging graves.

We will probably need a plot of some kind? One long enough to last for two hours. It must be something never done before, which may be difficult since everything has been done before.
If we cannot get a plot that long we can put it off and stick it in in the middle, “The Plot Thickens.”
We also need needless parts that can easily be cutout to allow for commercials when adapted for TV, along with minor swear words that can be bleeped for those under 14 years of age.
For those who/whom know Mel Brooks. Ask him if he’d like to get in on it? Tell him he can actually have an active part himself.
All he would have to do is lie in the funeral home on a slab or in a box.

I agree, you can't leave undertaking out of the trilogy, it just ain't fair. Like a fellow freshman used to answer the phone, "Joe's Morgue. You stab em, we slab em." Is probably the most lucrative job in the Old West towns.
