My 5-Star review in entirety published at Amazon for Aliya DalRae’s captivating novel, 'Fallen Gods,' (Book 5 - The Fallen Cross Legion Series):

‘Fallen Gods’ is a Paranormal Romance novel which will more than satisfy the reader’s voracious appetite for Aliya Dalrae’s legendary vampires and sorcerers. Add burnt-cabbage smelling ferals and a demigod too. I’m even partial to Frank, the homeless guy who hangs out by the dry cleaners.

Besides the sparks flying from convincing scenes with pent-up tension and romantic outlets, there is plenty of spark to be had if Sasha can train Viper to summon, channel, and control the magic within. After all, he should be able to do more than mind-blowing to detonate stuff.

The author creatively touches upon backstory incidents from other books in the Fallen Legion series which impact inner conflicts and character conflicts vis a vis Sasha and Viper; Tas and Jun. She explores the themes of loyalty and trust in full.

While the story had me from page one, the ending took me by surprise.

I highly recommend this well-written, engaging, suspenseful novel with wonderful characters who don’t mince words.
