These are my thoughts - writings that come to mind on a cloudy day when my mind is clear. Enjoy!

DAVID’S THOUGHTS: The wind is moving but I am standing still – a life of pages waiting to be filled –a heart that’s hopeful – a head that’s full of dreams – dreams within the still of night – on wings of hope take flight inside of me – there upon the distant shore we want for nothing more than what will be………… When you feel the sunlight fade into the cold night and you don’t know where to turn – I don’t know where to turn – and all the dreams you’re dreaming seem to lose their meaning- you look anywhere for answers you don’t know…… Those answers are out there somewhere…………… Another Time ,Another Place – I’ve always heard there is a land beyond the mortal dreams of man where every tear will be left behind – but it must be in another time. There’ll be an everlasting light shining a purest holy white and every fear will be erased but it must be in Another Time, Another Place………… TIME: Time is a continuous thing measured only by numbers arranged circular on a face with two pointed hands moving slowly, s-l-o-w-l-y around and around, ticking, ticking away the seconds, minutes, hours – never ceasing, never ceasing …………… TIME. AUTUMN: The skeletal remains of Autumn with its earthy stench of decaying leaves of crimson, amber and rustic tones. The raw smell of changing matter disintegrating before our eyes, the unsympathetic winds blowing leaves into infinity with the nakedness of Autumn left behind. ON DEATH: Death is the inevitable end to one life and possibly the beginning of a new life – a life that is somewhere in this vast universe that is composed of millions of stars and galaxies that constantly multiply. We accept death in our own little way and find our peace within ourselves –an inner peace that we seem to be contented with. We, as the living, find it difficult to deal with death itself, but, to those approaching death actually go within their inner peace and accept the rules of death. “The true st end of life is to know that life never ends.”…………… RAINY DAYS: What day is this, so dull and dreary, from rain falling from dark, foaming clouds and beading on dirty window panes -each bead falling like tears of one who is lost, crying and sad from memories of long, long ago………….. REINCARNATION: Reincarnation is something to be considered, as I truly feel that we all return to this earth in another form of human life. The life that we leave is forever distant in the back of our minds –we do not remember that life –we begin a new life from scratch, a new life that may be full of dreams and hope, fear and sorrow and passion for that new life – a life that can only be in another time, another place……… A SOUTHERN PLANTATION: Massive columns of marble composed of polished crystalline limestone rise up into the aqua sky. The motif of pure white shutters hanging from red clay brick with ruffled lace curtains blowing aimlessly with the breeze. Assortments of red and yellowish roses , snapdragons of blue and white and marigolds of orange and yellow inline with footprints to a grand entrance. Magnolias of dark-green foliage with waxy flowers of a creamy-pink color; weeping willows and sassafras trees blowing In the wind choked by flowerless dense clusters of moss. The constant sound of insects steal the air. A dreadful cry of a whippoorwill in the distance. The howling of the hunting dog and sounds of soul in the cotton fields. Dust storms erupting in summer’s heat. Children of color playing in the meadow. The smell of freshly-baked bread in the air. An evening sun dissolving in the western sky. Fires of the night burning…. A southern plantation quietness………………….“DREAMS are always in the back of our minds. HOPE is in our heart. DETERMINATION is with us constantly. FULFILLMENT is an assemblage of all the above……………………”
