The Cape Hatteras Lighthouse - the tallest brick lighthouse in the world standing at 208 feet tall and weighing over 4,800 tons.
In 1999, to save the Cape Hatteras and to save this masterpiece, the lighthouse was moved robotically 2900 feet from its original location and 1600 feet inland from the perils of the Atlantic Ocean. She will be safe for at least another 100 years from the sea..............................
