The spy plane featured in my novel Fruit of a Poisonous Tree.

The plane does not exist. So says the United States Air Force. Supposedly the Aurora, some times referred to as "Senior Citizen" got its name from a clerical error. When the Air Force released its annual budget a classified line item showed the word "Aurora" as the designate for a secret aircraft. The Air Force denies the plane exists. Yet reoccuring sightings confirm that something is in the works.

According to several web sites on the Internet the Aurora can fly in excess of 5,000 miles per hour ( more than six times the speed of sound). Powered by something called a "pulse detonation" engine. Aurora's reported altitude is in excess of 90,000 feet and it can survey and photograph more than 100,000 sqare miles in one flight. Obviously making it one great recon. plane.

Web Site: Fruit of a Poisonous Tree currently listed as #2 NAVY fiction bestseller. Order your copy here.

Its amazing how denials sometimes turn into fact somewhere down the road.

The author, Norm Harris, is quite impressive with his extensive military knowledge and obviously...photography skills. His investigative work into the top secret must also be quite an attribute.
By the way Norm, you must have some great connections to take such a wonderfully secret spy plane so high in the air.
lol. Great Photo and quite an interesting addition to your super publication Fruit of the Poisonous Tree!
