I told her frankly that I didn't give a damn.
It's all a sham. Now I'm on the lam.
I went back to Kansas in a hot-air balloon.
Like a buffoon, I took off too soon.
They said California was the place we should go.
What did they know? I'm feelin' so low.
She almost got to me with her feminine wiles.
She was all smiles, when she shot poor Miles.
They'll probably be wondering when I am dead
just what I said. I sure miss my sled.

But I'll think about it tomorrow.
Tomorrow's another day.
Tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow.
It's just another day.

She left me in Paris all alone on a train.
We met again. Then she took a plane.
I just want to see Mary and hear Zuzu sing.
When a bell rings, a new pair of wings.
An old-timer told us gold can change a man's soul.
We lost our gold. Now I'm feeling old.
Fasten your seat belts for a long bumpy ride.
Margo's in stride. Someone hurt her pride.
They found him face downward out in her swimmin' pool.
That was so cruel. He looked like a fool.

But I'll think about it tomorrow.
Tomorrow's another day.
Tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow.
It's just another day.

Our cruise down the river was such a nice trip.
Blew up the ship, and gave 'em the slip.
Frank Miller is comin' in on the noon train.
Oh, what a pain. We will meet again.
So I went out dancin' and singin' in the rain.
Feelin' no pain. Folks think I'm insane.
Coulda been a contenda but I was too dumb.
Now I'm a bum. I wonder how come.
Some Brits built a bridge for the Japs, built it well.
It sure was swell. We blew it to Hell.

But I'll think about it tomorrow.
Tomorrow's another day.
Tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow.
It's just another day.

I checked in this evening at some roadside motel.
It's cold as Hell, and what is that smell?
I crossed the Sinai with one of my Arab friends,
rested and then, I went back again.
I remember the summer Tom Robinson died.
Atticus cried, and Boo came outside.
They say that the Ruskies got a doomsday machine.
Sounds kinda mean, but they keep it clean.
I don't wanna sleep with that old lady again.
She's such a pain, and I love Elaine.

But I'll think about it tomorrow.
Tomorrow's another day.
Tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow.
It's just another day.

Open the pod bay doors and let me inside.
What a strange ride. Aren't you on our side?
He made me an offer that I could not refuse.
He couldn't lose. I still had to choose.
The nerve of that man, he thinks he owns this whole town.
Don't feel so down. It's just Chinatown.
I spent my whole summer in a state mental ward.
It sure was hard. I beat up a guard.
I went off with some old guy to fight in the wars.
"Star Wars" of course. Learned to use the force.

But I'll think about it tomorrow.
Tomorrow's another day.
Tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow.
It's just another day.
