A full time novelist and poet, Weslynn McCallister is the author of several romance, sci-fi novels and poetry. Among them are, Apache Springs, Skin Deep, Prophecies of the Ancients, Wyatt's Deck, and Shifting Sands. Under the pseudonym of Wes Alistiar, she has writen several non-fiction and metaphysical works. Among them are, Timing is Everything; Astrology is the Key, and Romancing the Zodiac. Born in Evansville, Indiana, but raised in Roswell, New Mexico, Weslynn has spent most of her life in the Sun Belt. She attended St. Petersburg Jr. College in St. Petersburg, Fl., business school in Tampa, Fl., and the Laguna Beach School of Art in Laguna Beach, Ca. She has won many awards for poetry in both literary and poetry magazines,including a second place award for Best Romance Novel at the Florida Writer's Conference for the first edition of Apache Springs. She belongs to many organizations, among them the National Writer's Association, Sisters in Crime, Romance Writers of America and is one of the founding members of the Florida Writer's Association.When Weslynn is not writing, she enjoys long nature walks, boating, attending theater, performances, operas and concerts. She also enjoys traveling and has been to South America, Mexico, Europe and the Hawaiian Islands.A former astrologer, McCallister is a single mother of three who lives in Austin, Texas. She is currently at work on her next novel. Please note...all mysterys, romantic suspense, and novels of high drama will be written under her pseudonym, Jamie Cortland. Only sci-fi, light romance, and time-travel novels will be written under her given name, Weslynn McCallister.
