Lori Henry has been a writer for over 20 years, covering travel, culture, health and business. She began travel writing in 2002, covering destinations all over the world. Her interest in culture runs deep. She holds an MA in Dance Anthropology and has written extensively about dance. In 2012, she published a book about her travels across Canada to study Indigenous and non-indigenous dances (Dancing Through History: In Search of the Stories that Define Canada). She has done work in the podcast industry, voicing the character of Alex Reagan in the hit podcast THE BLACK TAPES. She has also lent her voice to TANIS, THE LAST MOVIE and APEX MAGAZINE, along with commercial clients. Lori previously worked as an occupational therapist and ran a mental health service for adolescents and young adults, specializing in eating disorders. She also worked for a pediatric centre that served children and youth on the autism spectrum and who had other disabilities.
