Information
After graduating from U.C. Davis with a B.A. in history, I eventually found my way into the publishing industry, first as a freelance copyeditor and proofreader, then as an associate editor at a sports publishing company. I've also been a Napa Valley winery tour guide, a substitute teacher, and an English as a Second Language instructor. Since moving from California with my husband and now-teenaged son to beautiful North Idaho, I've rediscovered my passion for writing. My first novel, The Silver and the Cross, a Christian historical romance set in a north Idaho silver-mining town in 1890, has been published by Comfort Publishing (April 2010). Another book in the same genre, this one set in 1902 Wallace, Idaho, has recently been published on Kindle, Lulu and Smashwords. I'm working on a third novel set in 1910 and an adult paranormal fantasy as well as a YA fantasy. I've written many magazine article as well.
