I was the bright and shining star of the Sottile family.  I grew up in a loving Italian family who protected me.  Since I was a little girl, I had dreams of becoming a singer, but I became an author instead by the suggestion of a doctor whom I once saw when I was stricken with bi-polar illness. I showed this doctor a copy of a letter that I had written to the administrative offices of the hospital, where I was mistreated.  After reading this letter, the doctor asked if I ever considered writing a book.  Here I am today.  My singing debut is not over yet!

I won awards in Music and started a distinguished business career in New York City, where I took singing lessons at Carnegie Hall. In my younger days I sang with a band.
