Lea started reading romance books when she was in her early teens.  Every year, boxes and boxes of used books would be donated to charitable book sale due to the number of books she would read.  Although writing a romance was in the back of her head for many years, she did the usual thing of going to college and graduate school and getting a "real job".  After becoming ill and going into remission, Lea decided to take a shot at this writing thing and wrote her first novel, Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not?  Siren Publishing accepted it and the rest, as they say, is history.   Her third book in the series The Chisholms of Texas has been submitted and her second is due out December 15, 2011.
