I'm 35 years old and am a self published author.  I write poetry, stories, and lyrics.  I am a music lover (prefer 80's music), I love animals (especially dogs/black labs), and just love to have fun.  I'm a Christian and enjoy volunteering at my church.  I have twelve books out.  All books can be found at this website: www.lulu.com/hazeleyestiffany .  Thank you for checking out my page and Happy reading! *I must add that I credit Dr.Seuss and many sessions with different therapists as a child to why I do what I do today.  Did I mention I also have a wild imagination?  Read, My Side of the Mountain, if you get the chance.  Reading this in my youth made me want to live in a tree in the woods where I could write without interruption and at peace.  Agatha Christie's, And Then There Were None made me want to experience a thrilling, but deadly gathering with strangers.   I read so many books in my youth that I was deemed a nerd, a book worm; and that is fine by me.   I don't read as much today (shame on me), but sure do love to write, as writing has saved me many times.  

I was the English 8 girl in high school. I believe the award was made up by my teacher just for me. My eighth grade English teacher believed in me and pushed for me to always keep writing and reading. I needed that push and additional support system and she is still encouraging me today.
