I grew up in Central Maine, USA, fourth of five children. Tomboy from the start, I roamed the woods, along lakes and streams. Learned to ride horses and shoot at an early age. My love of the outdoors, horses and shooting helped me enjoy reading and writing westerns. I began writing in seventh grade when my teacher taught her class to write fiction as well as non-fiction papers. My work was frequently the example the teacher read as the correct finished assignment. I have been writing ever since and though quite prolific, with boxes and files of stories, I have not had much published. My own fault. In the prosccess of rectifying that. Success as a newspaper repeorter for four years (2008-2012), writing for a weekly publication. I had two Opinion columns, one editorial column, as well as collecting news, such as Town, School, Clubs and Charity events. I covered accidents, and did a feature article on a major reconstuction of Maine's fifth most dangerous intersection, mainly because I live with-in a half mile of that site. That feature earned me my first Front Page Above-The-Fold article. For 16 years I co-led a Writer's Group, which, through critique and encouragement,  helped writers of many mediums, write their best possible work. Many went on to be published and get work in writing markets. My Ebook came about from my personal journaling. Though not one of my western manuscripts, as my fisrt book, a non-fiction, I am pleased I wrote and published this piece. I am an artist, (Landscapes and animals) having had one-person shows as well as entered juried events. Not only participatijng in large Art Shows, I've had small accomplishment in winning at State Fairs. I've had fun working as Ring Master at local Horse Shows, which is a fancy title for the Go-between with the Judge, Announcers, and Audience. My husband and I are activly involved in several programs in our home church, a non-denominational assembly, Grace Bible Church, Sangerville, Maine. I also host a Ladies Bible study in our home. My Biblical Life-verse is Romans 10:17 "For faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God."
