Author SC Russell, previously working for years as a counselor, has found writing to be a medium for sharing universal themes. Using smart, quirky wordplays of current hot topics and every day scenarios, she enjoys making people laugh along with the characters, and even at themselves. As the guest speaker at the National Cancer Convention in Chattanooga this summer, SC Russell had a chance to read a sassy, fun chapter of her novel The Color Between Black and White to the audience.  Public speaking will now fill as much of her time as writing!
