John R. Beyer served in law enforcement for nearly ten years as a training officer, patrol officer and one of the first SWAT team members in Riverside County in California. Turning that knowledge into the education field he became a public school educator as both a teacher and an administrator both site and district level. He spends his time teaching the future adults of tomorrow and writing for the adults of today. He lives happily with his spouse, Laureen, on a small ranch in Southern California.
