Al Owens has been a member of the PGA of America since 1990. He served on numerous committies with the Indiana PGA while a head professional in that state. He was previously head professional at Sand Creek Country Club in Chesterton, IN. He also was recruited from the President of the Indiana PGA to build and open The Brassie Golf Club also in Chesterton, IN. where he served as Director of Golf.

Al has also served as Master Instructor for Resort Golf in Arizona. While working for Resort Golf, Al Owens was named Master Instructor at Gold Canyon Golf Resort, Arizona’s #1 rated public golf course. Al Owens then continued on as the Master Instructor for Resort Golf at Legend Trail Golf Club in Scottsdale, AZ.

He has served as the Director of Golf Instruction at The Hawthorns Golf and Country Club located just outside Indianapolis in Fishers, IN.

Currently Al serves as an expert teacher for the Kinetic Performance Center located in Northfield, IL.
