When I was a child, I suffered from terrible nightmares. My mother enlisted the help of a professional. As a homework assignment, I was asked to start writing these dreams down, and it changed my life. Suddenly I was looking forward to what my mind would create, and I began turning these nightmares into short stories. By the time I was in high school, my freshman English teacher submitted one to a contest, and although I didn't win, I received some very good reviews for my work, encouraged, I kept it up. Later when I attended Purdue University, I took a writing class, and the professor really liked my ideas, in turn, giving me direction on how to continue professionally. Always a lover of science fiction, movies such as: Metropolis and Blade Runner kept my mind spinning with alertness, keeping alive my love of writing. My first novel, "The Wolf Experiments" is a science fiction. I am also a veterinary technician and have worked in he field for over twenty years. With many ideas emerging from true animals rescues I have been involved in, I have also begun work on a novel that I am affectionately calling, "Chronicles of a Veterinary Technician". This is really in the beginning stages.
