A native of the Pacific Northwest, I can often be found outdoors enjoying a wide variety of activities that take advantage of our beautiful scenery, mild climate, and relaxed environment.  Whether visiting the Oregon coast, kayaking in Puget Sound, camping in the Cascades, or just gardening at home, I find inspiration, motivation, and creativity from the picture perfect vistas, abundant wildlife, and fresh air that I call home.  Most of my writing efforts to date relate to my professional background, encompassing nearly two decades in the financial services industry, with roles in client operations, back office support, and training administration and management. Disillusioned with the "status quo" in Corporate America, I followed the entrepreurial path of starting my own business in 2007, so that I could share my perspective and expertise with employers that wanted to make a positive difference and set themselves apart from their peers. Fictional writing is another of my passions, providing a creative outlet for my thoughts and ideas.  I love any opportunity to tell a great story, and am currently working on a novel full of intrigue, romance, and suspense.
