An interest in politics and the power base of Rulers in the Middle East was the driving force behind me writing this book.  I was aided by my experience of working  in the Middle East for seven years.My knoweledge of construction and demolition, as well as working with Indian recruitment agents gave me the inside knoweledg for the story to work. At the age of thirty I went to Dubai working on large civil construction projects, during a one year contract in Saudi Arabia I wrote the book using an old tywriter and typing one fingered.  It took a year but in 1981 the only copy of the manuscript was destroyed by someone who was determined the story would never be told. Twenty two years later a friend encouraged me to re-write the book, a large influence in keeping going was my mum who taught me "always finish what you start or dont start it in the first place." Im proud of the book and thankful for the support I received in re-writing it.
