Information
I come from a very creative background. My upbringing was centered around music and thats where I got my start. I wrote my first song at the age of 10 and had been writing every since. I sung on the professional level for a while in New Orleans and than began to write and recite poetry my new found love. On a more routine professional level, I'm a Social Worker who happens to love her career. I get alot of my inspiration from everyday life situations. I grew up poor and experienced alot of things that poor people usually do. I have a passion for realistic poetry/ urban poetry,I can relate and identify with the stories, the feeling and the emotions that this genre of poetry creates. I love what I do.
