I came from a place where land was parched, crowded, expensive and political conflict reigned.  When I left the desert, came to Georgia and saw just how beautiful land could be I was appalled at how it was treated.  It's only ours on loan even though we say we "buy" it.  We actually "rent" it, for we will die and the land will survive.  So land is actually a pawn on a chessboard.  It can be beautiful and turned into a dump, it can be a dump and turned into remarkable beauty. It is 100% restorable, and it's the basis of wealth.  It runs our economy, good and bad, and when the land becomes valuable again, people will see wealth again.  So I write about the land and how realtors affect the wealth of the world. Since I don't want my stories to be stone boring, I spin them into mysteries attached to the land where the story is the bottom line of how the land plays out.
