I've always liked humour. As Tom Leher was a mathematician, I thought 'why not me?'

I started writing and performing funny songs on BBC radio, then developed a one-man show, ending up (briefly) on national TV. After a big divorce, I came off the road and became a freelance copywriter. I now live in Lanzarote, and in the three years I've been here have written three funny novels.

My favourite funny novelists are Tom Sharpe and Colin Bateman. I also like PG Wodehouse.
