The Best Part of Me... Is You

I married my high school sweetheart... Nancy... on 8/4/84 in the town of George, Washington! The smartest thing I ever did was take advantage of her pity on me. :) I took this photo of her the day after our wedding.

Poem Artwork

If green apples and cream had a choice...
they would become your skin.

As soft as babies breath... Smooth like dew drops on silk.

If the wings of angels could be a part of you...
they would choose to be your hair.

Flowing like a whisper... blowing in a fresh breeze.

If honey and wine should ever entwine...
they would turn into your kisses.

As close to heaven as possible... enduring... enchanting... addicting.

If emeralds and deep water ever sparkled in unison...
they would shine like your eyes.

I am so lost in their gaze... I never want to be found.

If the earth and a promise ever became one...
they would hold me forever...

and become you.
