Strangers

We were strangers brought together by an ad

Even in your joyful voice I heard something sad

Exploring for the reason I told you of my life

The pain and happiness, the loneliness and strife

We had common ground as our lives we compared

Based not only on experience but on the illness we shared

You were at the beginning I was well along the road

I knew what you’d go through with each new episode

I told you how I coped with the never ending pain

Hoping I could help you deal with the coming strain

I think of that conversation often because when it was done

We were no longer strangers, our friendship had begun.

Bonding is good, telling the sad part of life to a stranger...no good.
The heart wanted to believe, the brain have its doubts but, what the heck give it a chance...and then it becomes a life enduring friendship or we become the victim of one that takes but never gives.
Bonding is good.

Georg

I am reminded of how quickly bonding takes place between strangers under extraordinary circumstances. A treasure here, Bobbi. Be well, Kathy
