What could be scarier than Halloween??

Poem Artwork

They wander the halls like zombies

Sightless, without soul, grotesque

Foul blind trolls, oozing poisonous slime

Contaminating all with their rotting contagion

Sucking out your very life’s blood

Leaving just enough for you to survive

So they can return to feast again, and again

They leave behind death and slaughter

Laying waste to all they encounter

Gathering like vipers to scheme their next

Cruel, wicked, heartless, filthy plot

And drool over the lifeless bodies

 Of countless, hapless victims

Howling like rabid wolves as they catch the scent

Of a fresh opportunity to

Dismember another of the weakest

While the strong watch in silent disbelief

As Mordor’s darkest evil is wrought upon them

The stench of their chamber of horrors

Belies their daily debauchery

And Hell’s companions

Outside their gloomy chamber

Groom the trolls, scooping up the slime

For their own consumption, to spew back out

Expanding the diseased band of carcasses

That they have become

You know these vermin

They are 535 strong

The hopeful provided them

Their vile nest of pestilence with votes

Hell hath no fury like

Those elected surrogates of Satan’s lust

Who continue each day to prove that

Halloween really isn’t so scary after all

Too bad the 535 won't go home... and stay. They could take some others with them.

Chillingly stated; I'm steering clear of all that stuff, Patrick. Love and peace,
