Before I set the table to celebrate Father's Day yesterday, I cut these roses from my flower garden. Roses are my favorite flowers, I like smelling them , admiring them brought a tranquility to my heart.
STOPPING TO SMELL THE ROSES
When life stresses you too much
stop and smell the roses
its’ beauty will bring tranquility to your soul
When you find it hard to make the next move
stop and smell the roses
its’ beauty will help you to stop and ponder
upon what to do next
When you find that life has given you too many curb balls
stop and smell the roses
its’ beauty will help you realize
others may have it much worse than you
When you think you are at the end of your rope
stop and smell the roses
its’ beauty will enchant you into changing your mindset
for you have too many more roads to travel,
roads that will take you to your dreams and heart desires!
I second that! Especially as I just bought myself a dozen multi-colored roses (pink, yellow, white and red)-the beauty of appearance and scent of a rose I believe s unmatched, just like your poem shows.
