There's dark clouds rollin'
like a shadow across the sky
hiding the sun
causing birds to fly.
There's rain falling
driven by the wind
suddenly a bright day
never had the chance to begin.
There's thunder in the distance
maybe thirty miles away
if its moving with these clouds
then its heading my way.
There's a dog barking
as the wind rattles a fence
someone shouts come in
but the dog has no sense.
The day has changed its way
I was going out
maybe in I'll stay
maybe another day.
There's lightning
shouting in the clouds
making shadows dancing
all around.
