A racehorse with attitude

*I was torn between* *give in* *or go for broke,* *and I chose to* *not disappoint.* *Though the will in me* *was almost played out* *I think I made them see* *it was not a done deal,* *thats why I'm here* *so you can fear* *cause I left mine* *at the door.* *With the odds stacked against me* *I really was seen as a loss,* *but that spark in my soul* *made me kick hoof in the soil* *and I galloped* *for all I was worth.* *A race for remembering* *thats what it was* *and I ran it* *ahead of the field.* *I knew I could* *in the past I* *refused to be pushed* *this time* *this ones for me.*
