Never give up on a dream, even when life knocks it to shreds.

Poem Artwork

I sat on the edge
of a dream
believed it was real
until a crack of thunder
a bolt of lightening
reduced my dream
to nothing,
it never returned
though I waited and waited
sat on that edge
foolishly contemplating.
Dreams are dreams
meanderings of so many things
sometimes they are
sometimes so far
yet even if they vanish
believe they will return
one day
who can say
maybe one day.

Prayer turned my dreams into reality. Prayer works these days. Nothing else seems to bring joy. Amen

It is a bummer when a good dream is interrupted and one never knows how it comes out.

But during my working life, particularly when I had a difficult problem to solve that I didn't know how to solve, I would get a strange dream that night that would repeat itself over and over until it became a nightmare. I actually had the same nightmare on multiple occasions multiple times. It seems like those dreams were always hung up in a conundrum. By their mere repetition, they were remembered and repeated on subsequent nights.

I wouldn't wish that kind of dream returning for anyone.

The only dreams that return are bad ones. Even when I shut my eyes for sleep and think of good things, I find myself lost in the same bad dreams. It's good to hope that one day the good ones will return.

Ah, they never come back you must go after them viciously and with determination. Waiting means one thing and I doubt you want me to go there.
