~another bucket.man rendition~

Poem Artwork

there's a me in the you - i miss the we.
real men and women. where are they?
stuck in this neuvo reality of pretension.
sucking meat off fleshy bones of carrion,
sows and cows. lipping occasional vegies.
talks about propriety with belches wild and farting.
flatuence once a hidden occurrence
where propriety was the norm. yet, speak the
wrong terms, all hail the war of consequence.
between jell filled faces, plumped lips, lipo
suctioned asses lean fingers drip with
cunt juices, waving gucci bags, painting war
faces in drunken stupors. sex wags her
vital signs. as if monkey love made a real
vestibule out of the crypt called womb today.
he battles the ranges there. among the heatless.
with socks unfurled, laying like captives across
a wooden dresser. dishes stacked - stuck
remains of dead carcasses. trash overflowing.
reminants of yesterday. stench rising.
capitalist dogma stark and overstated. a past
hung out to dry on lines of conquests
shaking tits and ass while cavorting wildly. giving
an arch, for rear entry, where towels get draped
on overly swollen cock. striking bushes hoping
for anguish - he stabs them repeatedly calling
movements affections. hand holding and kisses
remain modern acts of love. penetration and seminal fluid
exchanges of drips and drabs and
lipsticked remnants mean nothing
but vile interpretations.

a little boy was abused.

The terror; the sadness; the heartshattering truth told in bold, no holds barred poetry--excellently penned nightmare. The ending takes your breath away...

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla. :( *tears*

Hi Donna - your write is very strong, it makes me think, and as i have been thinking about the subject of abuse a lot recently, to find your poem here today has had quite an impact. I have been writing my way through similar subject matter and tend to keep my head down while doing so - thanks for your comment, which led me here, i feel many things reading your poem, most of all, that i would like to wish you well, Nicky x

Vivid, to say the least. Raises the question how to stop it when so much pain goes unsaid.

My god Donna - this one must have dragged you over the coals when you wrote it. I don't know what to think about this.

I agreed with Edward this is one powerful and shocking write but one that tells it like it is. The disgust for the treatment and the anger for the person doing this rises like a thermometer in a furnace. Very strong stuff in this one.

A truly sad piece, and a most appropriate title, Donna.

I never really had to walk away from a poem before this is the first time its power was overwhelming and I guess a little close to home
You did a great job of expressing the feeling and also the statement of todays society
