Most Important Thing To Know

People like to read books

or watch an educational show

Because they want to learn about things

and just would like to know

But they forget about their eternal soul

and where it will forever be

So let's take a look in God's Word

so we can know and we can see

God has given us his Holy Word so that

we could know the way,

the way of his plan of salvation

and go to heaven someday

Some people wonder if they

are going to heaven when they die

They say

"Boy I really hope so, I'm not that bad of a guy."

We don't have to wonder or hope so,

we can know for sure

The bible says through faith alone in Christ

our soul will be eternally secure

God's Holy word tells us the only way to have life

is through believing on his Son

There is no other way given,

for Jesus is the only one

To believe on Jesus is to depend wholly upon him

and his sacrifice on the cross

There is nothing we could do to deserve heaven,

Jesus paid all the cost

To know you're saved eternally

and safe in God's own hand

is the most important thing you'll ever know

so from heaven you'll not be banned

I John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life; and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
