Written many, many years ago this inspiration has never ceased to be a continuous source of encouragement for me. It is my sincere hope that as you read, The Lord will minister to you in the same way as He does me...for His Word says, we need only ask...

*My Lord, My Lord* *may I come a while...?* *The day has been long and hard* *...I need Your comfort and Your smile* *My Lord, my Lord* *may I linger on...and stay?* *Life's burdens sort of got me down...* *I search...for words to say* *Oh, My Lord, My Lord* *so glad You know me well* *So many things You understand...* *there's no need for me to tell* *Can't wait for sleep to close my eyes...* *then Your precious work shall start* *You tenderly remove the pain...* *all the heaviness* *from my heart* *For while slumber holds me still...* *I neither know how...nor when* *You strengthen my spirit and let me know* *I can go on...once again* *My Lord...My Lord* *how grateful I am to You* *The miracle You work each day* *to give me faith...renewed* *I feel like I just want to shout!* *To let the whole world know...* *it's not me...!* *The Good and Righteous Savior* *who died on Calvary...* *It's 'He'...who keeps my mind* *and always...holds the key!* *The One...who always answers* *when I call to ...My Lord...on my knees* *Ps 77:1* *copyright;1990(edited 6/1/10)jmsbell*
