The older I get the more appreciative I am of God's Wondrous Mercy and Sweet Grace. I don't know about anyone else, but I personally could not survive, nor have any hope of ever seeing My Redeemer face to face without these beautiful gifts that were purchased with so great a sacrifice. I never want to forget that I am still makes mistakes...but now, no longer lost and no longer without hope. I may not do the things I used to do, however, every day, in some way(thought, word or deed)I come short of the Glory of God. And if not for the 'Light' of conscience that has been awakened in me, through the Love of Christ, I would still be unrepentant, knowing that I'm wrong but not caring...on my way to hell. I don't ever want to forget that I am human and come short, still... and I thank God for being aware of this, because many times while trying to point out another person's wrong, we do worse. It is easy to become a haughty judger for, 'we forget' the actions of our own past, not remembering how we ourselves have fallen short .
