If I didn't know...You were there

I wouldn't even bother

I'd give up right here and now...

not take another step farther~

Even a sunny day

couldn't encourage...this heart

why I'd turn from its light

...from its peace depart~

But because...I know that You Love me

and that You Care...

I am content that...whatever life unloads

You'll always bring cheer~

I know  You're my God...

and me? I'm Your child!

and I know  I can lean on You 

as 'we' go the extra mile~

Certainly, sometimes winds will blow 

and waves will beat

but You'll guide and lead me home...

despite the heat~

In the valleys...

and o'er the hills

it matters not

about the chills~

So, until I meet You... high in the air...

face to face

Faith reigns in this heart

as I look forward to our embrace~ 

You'll never cease...

You'll never leave

forever and ever

'we' surely will be...
