In light of the atrocities that abound in our world, I am reminded of a song's chorus that goes like this; '...Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full on His wonderful face. And the cares of this world will grow strangely dim, in the light of His Glory and Grace...' If, but for a moment, we take the time to do this...His peace, His healing and His strength will be imparted and somehow, miraculously, despite all that's happening in this world...He will enable us to go through from day to day...yet! Let's keep Pressing-on!

Poem Artwork

The whole world’s in turmoil as we

consider our plights

but hovering humanity

with healing  balm---God!

His Love ever alights

…yet!

Through the calamities

of life’s pain and sorrow

we have just one relief

our only hope---God!

He alone holds tomorrow

…yet!

Pulling us from the shackles

of distress and wry

we are reminded

through His present Spirit---God!

is still standing  by

...yet!

On horizons unseen

His entrance...is prepared

all that was prophesied

at last will be revealed---God!

will roust...with mal forever snared

…yet!

Hold fast to His promises

cling...with all your might

His Word has not detoured

He brings about His end---God!

shall win...Armageddon’s fight

…yet!

What will you do?!

will you stand...though you sway?

under the weight of oppression

please, forget not...Jesus!

who with reward...comes any day

...yet!

Take heart...O eyes

from which vast waters fall

everlasting  peace  will triumph

for, it is the faithful, that Our God

will...surely call

…yet!

Rom 8:35-39, 2nd Corn 4:7-9

Written only as God will allow. You always know how to arrange words to show the way God impacts our lives. As the song says, "Turn your eyes upon Jesus..." If the American people (all people for that matter) would do just that, picture the kind of world we would have to live in.

Love and blessings,

"Ever lasting peace will triumph" When the world is reeling in despair this message brings us faith to carry on. Beautiful message of faith, which seems to be in retreat in much of the world. Thank you Joyce and may peace and love be always with you.

Isn't it just like the concept of "yet" that we have so many of them. But the one "yet" that is most meaningful, you have nailed it down. Thanks. John
