I FEEL THEE!

It is not every time that we reach for God He allows us to 'feel' Him. Though He is by us constantly, sometimes He does withhold our ability to feel Him. Why? There's a void there and much is learned during these times...about ourselves and God. Patience is taught and our faith is tested and strengthened. In other words, it is in the dark that we learn to appreciate the value of 'Light'! How do we know He's there? By faith. Remember His Word says, 'the just shall live by Faith'. Thus, in such times, we are patient and do not cease to pray and express our need for Him. When we are faithful and wait, He does release to us our ability to 'feel' Him again. So, if you have been praying and waiting on God for any good thing and it 'seems like' He doesn't hear you, take heart...He hears you. Be faithful in your prayers and patiently wait. He 'will' come to us and you'll feel His reassuring Presence once again! This is a 'promise' from His very own Word!
Is 40:31. Press-on!

When Your Clandestine Lights

trickle over dark...

into the Bright of a New Day’s Rising

   O God, I yearn to...Feel Thee!

Your Presence…so strong for such a hour

can saturate with Wondrous Love’s Power

that I be  likened a revived tree’s overlay

supple...with spreading leaves and array

Within this alee I desire to be

perpetually consumed…by Thee

but Thou knoweth ‘flesh’ that it’s mundane

and quickly tires of…things…same

Thus during the delay of Your approach

images…doth my mind coach

that Your Majesty be not lost

while I’m reminded…of the cost

Miraculously,  I stand through

with my soul panting feverishly for You

and just when I think I’m about to fall

when strength is yearned for…most of all...

 I...Feel...Thee!

Is 40:28-31

He is the crutch that supports our weary bodies and nourishes our soul. A moving work Joyce. May peace and love be always with you my friend. Jon Michael
