When long ago You deemed and did suffice
to clothe me with the breath of life
You, Dear God foresaw all...my smiles and strife
You ignored a womb's plea to end my concept
but willed that I be safely kept
though a young woman...fretted and wept
You took me from hands that would not embrace
and placed me in a...perfect place
that mirrored an unlightened world's...chase
Twas there You taught me to endure each test
how to plunder against the raging wrest
to press-on...albeit the grevious infest
So grateful that You removed the veil's...stew
thus, I saw Who was leading me through
now in this extraordinary hour...it's still... me and You
Tis You...who highlights this vessel's story
to rescue others from their past...so gory
by veering them to see... Salvation's Glory!
I've learned to dismiss the roust of ensuing melee
my heart doth rest...on my Love of Thee
from 1944 to present...You've...brought me...to 73!
