Thank God for every church building which He has inspired men and women to build upon this earth. They are the 'meeting places' where Christians gather together in unity to Glorify our God. However, let us not be deceived; when Jesus Christ returns for 'His Church' He is not coming back for a building, but for a 'people', from every walk of life and from all over the world, who are truly filled with His Spirit and Living for Him. Thus...

We are...His Church!

 

We are the temples in which

dwell...The Spirit of the Living God

please, do not be deceived...

 

The time is coming...when

all erected structures will be razed

and taken by...the sea

 

But though such things...from

physical eyes...disappear

His Spirit will remain in thee

 

For, we are...the faithful people

for whom He will surely return...with

Splendid... Eternal Victory!

 

We...are...His Church!

Well put. Sadly far too many do not have a clue about what you are sharing here, JMS Bell. "Likewise my brothers, you also have died to the law through the Body of Christ, so that you may belong to another, to HIM who has been raised from the dead, in order that we may bear fruit for God." Romans: 7:4.

Wonderful thoughts Joyce! Yes, the church is NOT a building. I often think that our church body is more powerful than any one person or brick and mortar. For when two or more are gathered in His name anything is possible. Amen!
