Consider; There is ‘nothing’ we can achieve on earth that can be matched in any way or that is even remotely equal to…what God has Prepared for us. Then, why are we still here? There is, really, only one purpose; We've still got a lot of ‘stuff’ hanging on…and we are still being changed, that is…perfected, for our eternal destination…our Heavenly Home!

Poem Artwork

The carvings…litter my journey’s floor…

I’m not…done

Still being chiseled, I’m lead where we’ve been before

and I am so aware…I’m not…done

Those unconquered places… we revisit, again...

are not at all about now, but the end

Growth, so vital and necessary…

is taught on paths…made revelatory

Each ordained hour, it goes on

Your Hands gently bend, mold…dawn to dawn

Yet, one day, one fine day, me…made perfect…

with this earthy race over and won,

will alight with You…Home, without a speck

…Done!

 Psalm 119:71, 2nd Corn 3:18, 1Corn 2:9

To me, homogeneoucity is bland with everything merging into a single, "perfect form." Much preferable to me is a range of color and form that is naturally the result of slight variation in gene, leading to wonderful, beautiful humans wherever one goes. Preferably without cosmetics attempting to change hair color, skin complexion, and all the other devices devised to make humans supposedly more beautiful than they naturally are. That's why I like diversity so much and don't like any gods tinkering with us making us all the same.

The path to perfection is difficult indeed, and without a supreme goal we cannot begin to fully understand until we are indeed "done!"

Stuff You Can Say Everyday by D. Mullis

My son wrote a book of his personal, one liner quotes. Never underestimate the power of simple statements! A very interesting read!
